Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….
The Charles W. Morgan as it passes through the Cape Cod Canal on its 38th voyage on the way to the Massachusetts Maritime Academy before heading back home to Mystic Seaport in Mystic, CT. The Charles W. Morgan is the last wooden whaleship in the world from the 19th Century fleet. It is the oldest surviving merchant vessel and a National Historic Landmark listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1966. This photo was taken July 23, 2014 at the Cape Cod Canal.
